Dried fruit....for goths???

So I woke up this morning and I am feeling veeeeeery poorly! I have every symptom in the book and not a hell of a lot to combat it with. I may be a witch but that doesn't mean I can come up with an instant feel better potion unfortunately.....

One thing that did cheer me up though was this. While looking online for remedies, this popped up on my search.....Google knows me to well....

Want some Tim Burton love??

If you do not recognise this book below then I feel that we should no longer be friends!!...

This is a wonderful book filled with Tim Burton's poems and illustrations. Published in 1997, it is still loved by many and a massive influence for writers (including myself!). It is full of weird and wonderful characters such as Oyster boy, Voodoo girl and the pin cushion queen.

This is delightfully goth and you will love it forever, if you do not own it then I suggest that you buy it pronto!

Halloween dress up

Good afternoon spooks, has anyone been thinking about what they want to go as for Halloween this year??! I'm usually sorted by now but this year I am really struggling! I have a few ideas but I cannot seem to settle with one!

Sleep tight....Don't let the pillow monster bite!

Etsy is an amazing site, one that I don't go on so much. They don't have an amazing array of goth stuff but then you always come across little gems like these!

They are made by BubbleGumDish (you should be able to find them on Etsy's site). They are $42.00, which is a bit pricey but to be honest, I would still buy them!

Each pillow is stitched with a unique yarn on a heavyweight upholstery fabric. The pillow is 18" by 18", it comes as the pillow case only....and it's dry clean only.

This is sure to make Halloween a comfy one!

Shake some horror into your kitchen!

Still looking at stuff that I will never get......ALAS!! I found these gore-geous little salt and pepper shakers on the GOREY DETAILS website, Goff should not end with the kitchen!

 

They are magnetic ceramic and are approx. 3.5" tall. They cost $24.00 a set, They have to be specially ordered so they will take a while to deliver.

Necromance....not what you think...

Evening creeps! Just currently watching "Frankenstein" (the 1941 version which i will be reviewing on Sunday as my first film review!) and it somehow reminded me of this weird little website i came across last year.

The website is called Necromance, an on line and retail store based in Los Angeles. When I first came across it, I thought it was a very old vintage Victorian shop....how wrong I was......

Think of everything that good ol'doctor Frankenstein would have in his lab, this store pretty much sells it! Everything from accessories to  x-rays to badger toes....yes...toes....To say this shop isn't for the faint of heart would be an understatement but you somehow get drawn to it.

Before I get people having a go, I don't promote animal cruelty and I'm vegetarian so I get no kicks from it!!!! However it is highly interesting!!

The store was established in 1991, not much more is known about the owners as the site itself is pretty basic. If you live in LA then I suggest you take advantage of it!

My favourite is the absinthe soap and the skeleton key (both found in the home decor section) Hope you enjoyed this little treat!
